Paper: English Essay (100 Marks)
Candidates will be required to write one or more essays in English. A wide choice of topics will be given. Candidates are expected to reflect comprehensive and research-based knowledge on a selected topic.
Candidate’s articulation, expression, and technical treatment of the style of English Essay writing will also be examined.

Tips to Prepare for CSS English Essay
- Read editorials and opinion columns daily.
- Practice writing at least 2–3 essays per week.
- Focus on current national & international issues.
- Build a habit of outlining before writing.
- Revise grammar and sentence structure regularly.
